The exhibition consisting of three parts:
The international (New) Tendencies movement in its
fourth exhibiton [1968/69] was presented the broad spectrum of computer
art only, hosting the participants from both cold war blocks. The computer
sculptures, choreographys, objects and prints were exhibited. Permanent
computer installation in public
space by Vladimir Bonacic was set-up in Zagreb. Four international seminars
and colloquiums on computer art were set in 1968 and 1969, and nine issues
of Bit International magazine was published
(1968 - 72) by Museum of
Contemporary Art, Zagreb.
Tendencies 4 and Tendencies 5
[1973] exhibitions presented 331 computer generated
work by 58 artists or groups from 15 countries [from 4 continents].
