Part of the Migrant Navigator project by
Darko
Fritz .
We are lead into 'home' by
repeated iconography of the home button from Netscape including a
page where the icon has grown to a square meter.
One square meter is 2835 x 2835 pixels, thus the image size vary dependent
on user's monitor resolution. Once you get beyond the 'home' icon
there is a fake home
page [here from the archives, other pages are off-line now] . Computer-generated collages of partial information which
are randomly collected from the web are displayed at a new home page.
Automation of this technological process is made with the help of
chosen keywords using
TraceNoizer
art software. This process renders pages that are less than helpful
and a sort of representation of confused and partial and second hand
information. The video archive of on-line project is available in the
Migrant Navigator Tools
video.
